About Us

Mission Statement

"To help the poor and needy people of the Umkomaas break away from poverty and dependency on others, using effective and sustainable methods."

Missions With A Global Vision was founded by Mr Ian Naidoo with the aim of helping orphans, the disabled, disadvantaged women and some of the poorest people in Umkomaas. While our main focus is on Vulendlela also known as V section, we have also undertaken projects and made donations to the poor and needy in other areas, such as Samson Jondolos, New Haven, District 49 and many indigent schools.

Registered in South Africa as a charitable non profit organisation in 2003, Missions With A Global Vision focuses primarily on helping the poor and needy become self-reliant, and not dependent on handouts from donors. To date, thousands of people have received assistance from Missions With A Global Vision, including medical support, school fees, bore wells, wheelchairs, sewing machines, and many other income generating resources.

While the majority of our projects are undertaken by our offices in Umkomaas, we are happy to work in partnership with other organisations, where necessary, to achieve our aims and objectives such GCM Hyderabad India.
