Orphans
Orphans are among the most vulnerable and need our help and support
the most. Missions With A Global Vision has been supporting existing
orphans to provide better care for those already adopted, and to
expand their success rate in terms of one day caring for other
orphans as well.
Disability and Medical Assistance
Missions With A Global Vision has been providing wheelchairs and
other mobility assistance to physically challenged people who are
often seen as a burden on their families. Their newfound mobility
helps make them more active members of the family and are therefore
less of a burden. We also empower these disabled people with
resources such as the internet and computer skills. Vocational
training is given on a personal level to many as they cannot afford
transport costs. Your donation can help us source a vehicle to pick
them up and administer the level of training required.
We have organised many medical camps, especially after natural disasters such as floods;HIV & AIDS, offering free access to doctors and basic medicines.
Income Generation
Missions With A Global Vision has been funding small tunnel farming
schemes which allow people to earn a living by setting up and
running small tunnel farms as a businesses. This allows people to
take positive steps towards getting out of poverty, through hard
work and initiative. These tunnel farms cost about R4500.00. If you
would like to donate a tunnel farm as part of your company social
responsibility please write to us and we will send all the relavent
application forms.
Such schemes also help restore dignity and self-worth - something that people often lack when they have to rely on handouts to sustain themselves.
We are hoping to expand this project in order to help more people become self-reliant. So as a South African citizen your donation or sponsorship can make that difference…
Women's Training
We have been helping widows and other disadvantaged women to learn
new skills which will enable them to earn a living, suxh as sowing;
domestic cleaning services; peace garden workers and farm labourers.
Education
We currently sponsor The Drift Primary School, where poor children
are provided with free basic education. These indegent children are
also provided with hot meals so they can concentrate in the
classrooms. A hungry belly lacks the need for education but would
rather like to be fed.
In addition, we have also provided books and other educational resources to schools in many parts of Umkomaas, and school fees to outstanding children from poor families who would otherwise not have the chance to attend school.
Bore Wells
Access to clean drinking water can prevent many diseases, especially
among children. This is why Missions With A Global Vision has been
working to provide clean water to those who have no access to it,
mainly in the form of bore wells. The cost of these wells start
from as little as R5000.00. Your company can sponsor a well and name
it after the company concerned. “ Water is the source for life…”

Emergency Relief
Missions With A Global Vision has always provided aid and assistance
to people all over the Umkomaas who have been affected by natural
disasters. You can play a vital role in this regard. We urge you or
